IAPSS World Congress 2018: Call for Papers & Important Dates
It is my pleasure to invite you to the IAPSS World Congress 2018, which will take place at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, between the 24th and 28th of April, 2018 in Paris, France. We are expecting 250 students from around the world to join us in the “City of Light” to examine the 2018 Congress theme – ‘Diversity and Globalization’ – through 24 student panels and 8 plenary sessions and roundtables with experts from academia, civil society institutions, intergovernmenta l organizations and think tanks.
The World Congress is hosted by IAPSS – the International Association for Political Science Students – the worldwide representation of students of political science and related disciplines. Our partners include the International Political Science Association (IPSA), the European Consortium for Political Science Research (ECPR), and the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), among others. IAPSS embraces more than 600 individual members and 10 association members from over 90 countries, while over 215,000 individuals are following IAPSS through social media platforms.
2018 will also mark the 20th anniversary of IAPSS – you can thus expect a special social programme to celebrate this landmark!
Please find in this newsletter information related to the important dates and the currently open Call for Papers. Feel free to contact Weston Behrend Dunham at firstname.lastname@example.org for any queries related to the event, and Berfu Tarcan at email@example.com for questions on student panels.
